Old Age Security Pension
The Old Age Security Pension is a monthly payment available to most Canadians aged 65 or older. You must apply to receive benefits. If you meet the eligibility requirements explained, you may be entitled to receive the Old Age Security pension even if you are working or have never worked. You should apply for the Old Age Security pension six months before you turn 65.
