The Home Adaptations for Seniors’ Independence Program is:

a forgivable loan that will cover some of the cost for installing handrails, grab bars and easy-reach storage for seniors
The loan will help seniors:

to make permanent changes to their homes that can help them with daily living

who are 65 years old or older and in need of affordable and healthy housing

who have trouble with daily living activities
