A restricted photocopy (long form) is a copy of the original registration
and is usually required for legal purposes. They are, by law, for restricted use
only. A restricted photocopy can only be issued if authorized by the Registrar
General of Vital Statistics or on the order of a court. If no reason is
provided, your application will not be processed and will be returned to you.
NOTE: A restricted photocopy of a marriage registration is available ONLY to the
parties to the marriage (Bride or Groom) or their appointed representatives.
