Diagnostic and Curative Services
Diagnostic and curative services help identify and treat physical symptoms or conditions. There are three main types of diagnostic and curative services:
- Diagnostic services - radiology, laboratory and pharmacy.
- Medical travel services - ground ambulance, air ambulance dispatch services and taxi services required to transport patients to access services not available in their own community.
- Treatment services - provide active treatment and assessment to reduce the impact of medical conditions or disorders.
