HealthNet Viewer (interoperable Electronic Health Record – iEHR)
What is the HealthNet Viewer?
It is a viewing tool that allows your health professionals access to your key patient information such as diagnostic test results, lab test results, clinical reports and past visits.
It can reduce treatment delays by providing more complete information to your health professional.
Currently the Viewer contains the following information:
- Up-to-date information to help health professionals quickly identify you within the system
- Your NWT Laboratory test results
- Your NWT Diagnostic Imaging results
- Other key medical reports (i.e. clinical reports, discharge summaries, and patient lists).
Key benefits of the HealthNet Viewer for you include:
- Your health professional has your current NWT key medical information,
which:
- Allows better treatment decisions
- Reduces delays in treatment
- Reduces duplication of tests, such as lab work
- Allows easier retrieval of previous exams/tests for comparison
- Provides quicker access to information to assist with treatment planning and care provision in your home community
