Did you know:
Men are seven times more likely than women to die by
suicide, but women are more likely to go to the hospital after hurting
themselves.
- In the 1990s, almost 50% of the people who drowned fell out of a boat. About
20% drowned after falling into the water through ice or from the shore.
- Falls are the leading cause of injuries, and adults are most likely to go to
the hospital after tripping or slipping.
