Health Line
The Health Line telephone advice service was first made available to NWT residents in 2004. The Health Line was implemented to increase access to health information to residents across the NWT, especially those in more remote communities outside the major urban regions. Call volumes from these regions, however, are not sufficient to continue this service.
The Department of Health and Social Services will continue to ensure residents have access to poison information and drug information 24 hours a day.
