Eligibility
You are eligible for the Extended Health Benefits program if you are:
- registered with the NWT Health Care Plan
- a permanent resident in the NWT
- non-Native or Métis
- have a specified disease
You must apply to be considered for benefits. You can obtain the application form (PDF - 92.23 KB) from our website, or from the Health Services Administration Office in Inuvik.
Note: While the benefits for the specified disease conditions are quite broad, certain limitations and exclusions apply.
