Nearest Centre

1. When the nearest centre for necessary and appropriate insured health services is in the NWT and the patient chooses to travel to another centre, NO benefits are provided.
2. When the nearest centre for necessary and appropriate insured health services is outside of the NWT and the patient chooses to travel to another centre, intercommunity travel benefits are provided only to the nearest centre.
