Use of Antivirals for Prevention during an Influenza Pandemic
The Government of the Northwest Territories has released a report from the Pan-Canadian Public Health Network Council (PHNC) concerning the use of antiviral medications for prophylaxis (prevention) during an influenza pandemic.
The goal of the communicable disease control program is to control and prevent communicable diseases in the NWT. This program provides services to groups and individuals who are infected with, or at risk of contracting, a communicable disease.
