Welcome to the reporting section of ‘A Foundation for Change’.
This plan is essential for the sustainability of our NWT health and social services system. We have to move forward on all of our goals and priorities in order to ensure quality health and social services exist for Northerners in the future.
Our system is a fragile and complex one – Northerners lives are dependent on it. Many people are working through this action plan to strengthen this system, from front-line health professionals and social workers, Authority staff and Board representatives, to my peers in the Legislative Assembly.
You will be able to find updates on how the actions of our plan have moved forwarded here, on a quarterly basis. I hope that you will see our commitment to this system, and the sheer enormity of the work that we are doing reflected in the reporting that takes place over time.
